Selective mute- Scarlett is a selective mute, a condidtion that causes her to be unable to speak under certain circumstances. Scarlett has high social anxiety which has caused her to be very asocial. This is also the reason for her to be a selective mute. Scarlett cannot speak around the rude, angry, and very loud people of society. She also has shown not to be able to speak to those higher up than her, though she will be fine as long as she doesn't know their social standing. When eithier of these conditions are present Scarlett will not be able to utter a single word, and will somtimes make a squeeking noise if she was talking beforehand. This condition of course has it's own syptoms good and bad. The worst being that she is very shy, doesn't make eye contact, her movements can be very stiff and awkward, and last she has the hardest time maintaining eye contact. Scarlett also has problems expressing her emotions and often wears a blank face. She can be very OCD about this, such as needing to repeat things three times, and issues with asymetrical things. Lastly Scarlett is sensitive around large crowds and noisy places, suffers from stress, and sleep issues. This condition does have it's good effects though, She has a strong sense of right and wrong, high empathy levels, very artistic, and very high in intelligence. The bed still out weighs the good thoguh. Scarlett's favortie hobby is cooking and baking. She is very talented at is and loves to make japanese food, as it is part of her family culture. Scarlett has had to feed herself for a long time now, and loves food. This has lead her to take a joy in cooking. With extra money saved up Scarlett was able to take some classes and constantly read books on the subject.
